Festival of Music

Sunday, March 28th 2pm at St Peter’s Lutheran Church (corner of Cumming and Trevor Tce, Blackwood)

Arranged by the Mitcham Hills Inter-church Council, come along and experience music as presented in churches of this area and support the work of Christian pastoral support workers in our schools.

Tickets $5 each, Family $10 available from: the Church Office, Gloria McArthur, Bev Eccleston or pay at the door.

Partnering with Papua?

A Synod wide invitation has been extended to come to BUC and hear about the recent visit and learn how congregations can engage with our existing partnership with the GKI Papuan church. For those who came to church on Feb 28th some of the stories will sound familiar but some you haven’t heard. We will spend more time addressing the question of what individuals and congregations can do.

Saturday, March 27th 7.30 – 9pm (with supper afterwards). Here at Blackwood Uniting. Gold coin donation for Numfor projects.

March Walking Group

March 28th MORIALTA Conservation Park to First Creek Falls with Jane P and Wendy. We suggest car pooling from our church carpark at 1.30pm. So please RSVP 0400250498. It is a good moderate walk, with some steep sections, so good shoes are needed. There are short flat alternate walks available until we come back. A good spot for a thermos of tea after wards too.
